please create a outline (Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and ONE sub-genre of the 20th Century of your choosing – impressionism, expressionism, rock, etc.) and explain or diagram how each of the five elements of music (melody, rhythm, harmony, texture, and form) are conveyed in each period. Also include a “miscellaneous” category for typical characteristics of the period that might not clearly fit into one of the five elements. FInally, list the rough dates of each period, and the major composers. All of this MUST be done in your own words so that I know you understand the concepts – do not just parrot back exact terminology. It is not necessary to use full sentences, just descriptions or bullet points that are important.
